"Now I Have to Wait Half a Year"

(as the patient),

I saw my doctor who recommended me to a Urologist who I finally got to meet after 6 months. During our visit, he confirmed my issues and that I would receive the needed injections, which he said I would get them in 6 months, or perhaps 4 or 5 if I were lucky. Being that he is a doctor and I was already in the office, I inquired as to why I couldn't get that first shot right now, being that I was there and he could have done it immediately. He informed me there was a waiting list and I had to wait for my turn. How ridiculous is that? I'm there, he's there, he could literally have turned around, got the needle and the drug and I would have had my first shot!! So now I have to wait a half a year to come back? UNACCEPTABLE!!
