Care Opinion Canada is a storytelling platform that allows you to share your experience of health or care services in Alberta.
The aim of the website is to make it as simple and safe as possible for you to tell your story anonymously. Service providers are invited to respond and the ultimate goal is that your experiences - good or bad - lead to positive change for the benefit of all.
Launched in Alberta in 2025, this service is free for all Albertans and can relate to any aspect of your healthcare experience. We believe that patients and providers are partners in health and that by working together, we can all help to make a difference.

You can share your story on Care Opinion Canada. Say what was good and what could have been better.
When we publish your story, we don't say who you are, and we never share your personal details with anyone else.
Care Opinion Canada is not a service provider. If you have immediate health concerns please call 811. In case of emergency, call 911. For non-urgent health information enquiries, please call 211.

Care Opinion in Canada, worldwide
Care Opinion Canada is a program of Imagine Citizens Network. Launched in 2025 in Alberta with an initial focus on primary care and continuing care services, it has since expanded to include all areas of healthcare province-wide.
Care Opinion Canada is supported by the Government of Alberta, Alberta Innovates, and contributions made in memory of Charlie Fischer. Read about how launching Care Opinion Canada honours Charlie Fischer, a founding member of Imagine Citizens Network.
Internationally, Care Opinion is a non-profit organization, based in Sheffield and Stirling, in the UK. In the UK it is funded mainly through subscriptions from health and care organizations.
Care Opinion UK has been sharing people’s experiences of health and care services online since 2005, It has built a national and international reputation for innovative and value-led approach to online feedback.
