I am grateful to Alberta Health Services for covering the cost of my cochlear implant. The care I received from my surgeon, Dr. Justin Lui, was exemplary. His bedside manner before the surgery was caring and calming. He phoned me several times to follow up after the surgery and encouraged me to contact him with any questions or concerns. My ongoing rehabilitation from my audiologist, Jean Chan, exceeds my expectations. She is skilled and she cares. I feel comfortable asking questions, and she takes the time during appointments to address my concerns. I feel lucky to have such great care. The effects on my quality of life are profound. Thank you!
