"Unexpected Kindness Felt During Hospital Birth"

About: Rockyview General Hospital

(as the patient),

I was so so against giving birth in a hospital. The thought terrified me and all you see in the media today is horror stories of doctors and nurses making tragic mistakes.

After a difficult labour, I asked to get the epidural, which subsequently meant a trip to Rocky View hospital. I was so surprised at how kind and calm they were. I felt like they were truly there to help, and wanted the best possible outcome.

The majority of aftercare nurses I received were absolutely phenomenal. These nurses both in the labour ward, and after, truly are born to be nurses. They have passion for helping people and I couldn't have felt more looked after.
