"Our New Family Doctor"

Our family doctor who had cared for our extended family for many years retired.  He was unable to find a doctor to take over his practice, so my wife and I and our entire family were in need of a new practitioner.  Although we are active and healthy seniors, we were concerned that we might have difficulty in finding a new doctor.

Westgrove Clinic welcomed us with open arms.  We were assigned Dr. Jamil Janmohammed as our new doctor and three of our adult children and their families were placed with other clinic physicians.  The Clinic operates on a ‘Patient Medical Home’ model which provides every patient access to a team of medical professionals who collectively ensure the most appropriate expertise to meet individual patient needs.  We have never before felt so well taken care of.

Westgrove Clinic is located in the Queen Street Medical Centre in Spruce Grove.  Co-located in the centre are our local Alberta Health Office,  Alberta Precision Labs, Insight X-Ray and ultrasound, our dentist, and Ihear Unicare - our hearing aid specialist.

With all of these services so conveniently located, we take great comfort in knowing that we have such easy access to all of the services we will need as we continue to age.  The level of care that we enjoy with the Westgrove care team is exceptional.  We were accustomed to waiting hours after our scheduled appointment time with our former overworked family doctor, but at Westgrove, we rarely have time to ‘warm the chair’ in the waiting room before being called to the examining room.

We are most thankful for the care and respect shown to us and all patients at the Westgrove Medical Clinic.  Every member of their staff deserves a heartfelt thanks for the care that they provide every day.
