My nurse practitioner had been supportive in the past, helping me manage depression and anxiety. However, my experience with this clinic took a serious turn within the last year. At that time, I was in the process of tapering off a medication under the np's guidance—a sensitive and vulnerable stage in my treatment. Suddenly, I was left without access to the np or another contact at the clinic. I was instead contacted by a staff member and I was of the understanding that the clinic would not proceed with my care because a payment was 5 days late due to what I feel was a misunderstanding.
Even after I corrected the issue, they refunded my payment and cut off services. I was left without their support mid-treatment. This was not just a disruption—I believe that it was harmful and dangerous given my mental health condition at the time.
I feel that in response to a review I provided on another forum, I received an email from the nurse practitioner. It seems that that some documentation that was part of my financial support has been withdrawn. I believe she felt I had mislead her about the severity of my condition. This felt like it was a response to my review, and it has caused me additional stress and complications.
This experience has made me feel like there may be a priority of money over client care and well being. In my opinion, I would not recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, stable care.
