"Connection as a Patient"

About: Orthopaedic surgery

(as the patient),

I thought I had a surgical issue, and I saw the surgeon, and it was advised my issue is not surgical. The surgeon knew it was not surgical, before they saw me, although they still took the time to assess me.

It felt nice to be listened to, taken seriously, and to be connected with as a patient, even when medically the specialist knew their plan of action.

Hello Arthritic Pontificant,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience about feeling connected to as a patient. Your voice is important, and your willingness to share helps others feel empowered to do the same.

While we strive to notify all service providers mentioned in stories, unfortunately, the provider was not included in your story. Your story plays an important role in improving healthcare by bringing attention to real experiences and fostering dialogue.

Wishing you all the best,
The Care Opinion Moderation Team
