"Positive Experience During Allergy Testing"

I had allergy testing scheduled with Allergy Physicians Calgary this past spring. Unfortunately this attempt at having the tests did not happen due to the clinic not informing me of the need to stop antihistamine medication a week before the appointment. I mention this because everything was booked online, but further follow up by email or phone did not happen this particular time and getting to the clinic is a long drive.

But, they were fine with rescheduling me and that was helpful. 

I went for the testing and asked at the appointment if they would kindly add on more allergy tests. I am a daily antihistamine user and a week without the medication is horrible, not to mention the withdrawal effects from stopping cold turkey. The assistant to the doctor was wonderful. They listened to me and asked about the add on tests. Those were approved! 

Once I met Dr. Hinther I was so relieved. They took their time, were happy to answer questions and also provide options for treatment plans. More than anything they were truly invested in my care. I felt heard and seen.

I highly recommend this doctor at this clinic.
