"My Service at Circle Medical Copperfield"

About: Circle Medical @ Copperfield

(as the patient),

I had been a patient here seeing Dr. Muggli who is so amazing and kind. She is truly the best family doctor we have seen. Unfortunately when I went to book an appointment for my 1 week checkup for baby after his birth, the receptionist I felt was not helpful and I believe was very dismissive (and Dr. Muggli was away due to family emergency which I totally understand). I had been referred to Dr Muggli through the breastfeeding clinic for my first born son, then got pregnant again so i was her prenatal patient and I would have been seeing her still.

Fast forward a month later, I called again to book an appointment as my newborn has been having some concerns with feeding and (again she was away before so I couldn't make an appointment earlier) the receptionist I spoke to told me that my baby is too old to be seen by Dr. Muggli but I would have been seeing her if I had been able to secure an appointment earlier on. I was her prenatal patient for my first son as well as my second.

The receptionist at first said they would speak to Dr. Muggli and ask her but then quickly switched up and said the doctor cannot see me. I believe they were not understanding that I am not a new patient, and kept asking me if I had been there but seemed like they didn't believe me. I feel that they didn't make any attempts to help me or communicate with Dr. Muggli about this situation and I also felt that they completely dismissed me. It seemed there was no compassion in their tone, also seemed like they were in a rush and I was an inconvenience to them. My experience had been great until now. Their website says Dr. Muggli provides care for up to 1 year for mom and baby however I feel this is not true as I was turned away despite being a patient with her.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your kind words about Dr. Muggli. We’re very glad to hear that you have felt supported and well cared for under her guidance.

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered when trying to book your appointment after your baby’s birth. Your experience does not reflect the level of service and compassion we strive to provide to all our patients. We understand how important continuity of care is, especially during the postpartum period, and we sincerely regret any frustration or distress this situation caused.

We have shared your feedback with our reception and administrative teams to ensure there is clearer communication regarding follow-up appointments for prenatal and postpartum patients. We will also review how such situations are handled in the future to make sure patients receive accurate information and feel supported.
