"Nurse Practitioner Support as Illness Delayed My Allergy Injection"

About: McLeod River PCN- Whitecourt / Family Practice Nursing

(as a service user),

I had to delay my monthly allergy injection because I had a server lung infection. Rather than just going forward unsure of proper dose my amazing nurse practitioner went the extra mile. She not only hunted down the allergists by phone but, sent a fax to him to ensure we have all of the correct information on how to proceed. This ensures I don’t have any reactions. She is an amazing part of my care team who is always kind, loving and supportive.
