"Exercise Program Increased My Flexibility, Strength and Balance!"

About: McLeod River PCN-Edson / Kinesiology / Exercise Therapy

(as a service user),

The program lasted 8 weeks this fall.

It is now over and I just want to share that I enjoyed the classes and the instructor very much. I joined to accompany my child who has cerebral palsy with a severe balance problem. They are doing the exercises seated, while I did them mostly standing. It was good to have the seated option for my child. They benefited from the sessions very much, as they don't move too much during the day, for fear of falling.

The exercises were to increase flexibility,  strength and balance control.

After 8 weeks, I am in all around better shape to perform daily functions.

I find it much easier to bend to put my socks and shoes on, and I feel stronger in my legs and arms.

It's so encouraging to see improvement in 8 weeks. I benefit from doing exercises with a group.

Meanwhile I will continue at home twice a week until the classes are offered again.
