"Palliative Care - Lacombe Homecare"

About: AHS Lacombe Homecare

(as a relative),

My father wanted to stay in his own home with his family rather than being in a facility when he was dying.  He had a progressive lung disease and home care had already been helping him bath, dress, etc for a number of years.  Lacombe homecare stepped right up to assist him during the last few months as he needed more care and was unable to get out of bed.  I can not say enough about the care, kindness and dignity that they provided him.  The opportunity of being able to stay in your own familiar comfortable home vs a cold unfeeling facility was wonderful.  The one area to improve would be more respite care for my mother.
