"Pediatric Speech Therapy, Made Fun!"

About: Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

My son has been seeing Erin for pediatric speech therapy on-and-off for 9 months. I have been very happy with the progress in his speech clarity and the pronunciation of the sounds we have been working on. Erin has a very friendly, calm and open demeanor about her which helps my son to open up in his sessions. He can take awhile to warm up to some adults, but Erin made it easy from day one. My son's favorite thing about his sessions is that she always incorporates games into the learning exercises. She also always gives him the choice of 2 games to choose from. I appreciate this, as it makes the session fun and gives him a sense of independence. I also appreciate how she keeps in touch with my son's school speech therapist. This allows us to all stay on the same page regarding my son's speech goals and progress. Many thanks to Erin!
