"Fantastic Care For My Husband"

About: Carewest Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre

(as a relative),

My husband fell and fractured his pelvis. When we arrived we were scared and worried. The staff have been fantastic. Initially, I feel they tolerated and supported me while I stayed with my husband 24 hours a day. after a few weeks I felt confident enough to go home in the evenings and leave the care of my husband to the staff and that is very high praise.

The staff have been fantastic and, in my opinion, do not get the pay or praise they deserve.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The path to come to our program is usually the result of a bad experience and people are thrust into a scenario that they did not ask for. Having uncertainty with the health care system can be overwhelming for not only the client but also their loved ones. I am happy to hear that you gained comfort with our team. I shared your letter with our staff at our weekly team meeting and your kind words meant a lot to them. Thank you and I wish you and your husband all the best.
