"Excellent Care at Rockyview Emergency"

About a year ago, I entered Rockyview Emergency department's triage with a very nasty broken finger. The entire experience was a first class, excellent care emergency medicine experience. While standing waiting for triage, I was greeted by the waiting room volunteer. She was amazing, and even got ice for me to put on my finger. The triage nurse treated me with sincere compassion and interest in the injury of this finger that was pointing sideways. I have not experienced this at other hospital emergency triage. I moved through to the emergency department for bone breaks and was immediately cared for by a nurse who was just amazing. Again, another healthcare professional at Rockyview emergency that treated me kindly and with interest in my care. The doctor that took care of this mess of a finger (that was dislocated at the top and smashed broken at the bottom) was excellent with my care and also, compassionate with interest in my care. This finger needed a surgeon and the follow up care from this excellent emergency department saw to that also. I was into the surgeon within 12 hours for the necessary treatment. I cannot say enough about Rockyview's emergency department, they are really an amazing team.
