I went to see Dr Patterson as I was so frustrated with my partners care, or not care, in the Red Deer Hospital last summer. He asked me what my issues were and what Id like to see happening. I requested my partner, whom was dying from cancer, to be moved to a rural hospital to get more care than they were receiving in RDRH. Three days later Dr Patterson came to visit us at the hospital and spoke to my partner and myself and early the next morning Dr Patterson arranged to have my partner moved to Stettler Hospital. Weeks later my partner passed away and Dr Patterson sent me a sympathy card and hand wrote: if you need anything please contact me. I was so overwhelmed with his thoughtfulness, he’s such an asset to our community health! I appreciate him so much!
