Recently, because I have a serious infection in my gall bladder, my family doctor asked me to go direct to the emergency department at University Hospital in Edmonton Alberta. Went in the morning till almost midnight, around 13 hrs, nothing done except blood tests and blood pressure measurements. After all this long time sitting on one chair, and pain on my stomach, I decided to go home, because I felt like there was no hope at all to see the doctor in short time, after all that long time. For me it was a hopeless case. The only thing left was to remove the needle from my arm which had been left after the blood test, but I was shocked when I have been told wait for 8 patients before me, just for a one second job. When I tried to express my frustration, I found the security guiding me back and ordering me to go away from the reception. I felt their way and dealing seemed very bad and aggressive. I don’t know how the situation ended, but 2 minutes later, they called me and removed the needle, and I went back home with same pain. Don’t know what I can do after that.
