"My First Contact With Rehabilitation Advice Line"

About: Health Link 811 / Rehabilitation Advice Line

(as the patient),

I called the Rehabilitation Help Line for the first time. A very courteous and mature Physical Therapist, Kelly, asked questions and provided answers professionally.

They also shared resources related to my concerns in follow up emails and asked if they could share the assessment report with my GP. I happily agreed as myself, my GP and Alberta Health will be on the same page as I continue my efforts to manage the issue with help of the system.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with Health Link 811's Rehabilitation Advice Line. It's wonderful to hear that the team's clinicians, physiotherapists and occupational therapists are listening to your situation and providing you with helpful resources. Knowing what to do next is so important when managing your health. And knowing that your primary care provider also has the same information can help with your ongoing care.

We appreciate you contacting us and are always here to help!
