I have been suffering with alcoholism for years. I went to RAAM (Rapid Access Additions Medicine) clinics in another province and found that diazepam is the only thing to work for me. Since moving back to Alberta and trying to quit drinking; I feel that I've had to beg for diazepam.
I went 30 days sober, then had a tragedy in the family and relapsed. I made an appointment with a doctor at South Calgary PCN and they made me feel like I am on my own and told me to go to the RAAM clinic. It is seemingly impossible to get into that clinic.
