Recently, I lost hearing in one of my ears.  I waited to see if it would come back on its own, but as it didn’t after a day so I called 811 and was interviewed by a very pleasant nurse.  She referred me on to the Foothills PCN.  I met with a doctor there who prescribed some medicine to hopefully solve my problem.  It was a seamless experience, well handled and a beautiful clinic.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with the coordination of your care between Health Link 811 and our Calgary Foothills Primary Care Network Access 365 Clinic.

Experiencing hearing loss in one of your ears must have been concerning for you. We are so pleased you reached out to 811 and had a lovely call with a nurse who assisted you with a timely appointment at our clinic. Knowing that the process was efficient and seamless between our two organizations is the best compliment and reinforces the collaboration we aim to achieve to support patients when we share care in this way.

We strive to provide timely appointments at our clinic, and we are hopeful that the medication that the clinic physician prescribed for you will make a difference for your ear issue.
