"Emergency Delays at Peter Lougheed."

About: Peter Lougheed Centre / Emergency

(as a relative),

My dad went to emergency December 30 around 6pm. He was dropped off by a family member and didn’t see a doctor until around 8am the next day. After some tests he was released around 3pm on Tuesday December 31.

Being awake all night with no food for almost 24 hours is difficult for even a healthy person but I believe it is unsafe and unacceptable for injured, ill, vulnerable people.
