"Feeling Grateful and Supported by PCN's Mental Health Program"

About: Chaparral Medical Clinic South Calgary PCN / Time 2 Talk-Mental Health Program

(as a service user),

I walked into my appointment with Theo, feeling depleted,  as circumstances have been beyond my control since fall of 2025, progressively seeming more hopeless.. with each appointment I have been supported, encouraged, lifted up by pointing out strengths that seem out of reach with each passing day. Theo is a wonderful support person in my journey and although I have been preparing to succumb to feelings of being 'done', he has reached out to social worker emphasizing urgency of situation (being homeless, no income, family going through their own stressors, addiction and situation not changing). I hold on for one more day in the hope that there is a different plan for my life for this one does not work anymore. I am forever grateful to doctor, Theo and my friend who has been there each step of the way.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.

We’re truly grateful you reached out, and we’re very glad to hear that you’ve felt supported through your care with Theo and the Time2Talk Mental Health Program. It takes a great deal of strength to keep showing up—especially when things feel overwhelming—and we want to acknowledge that.

We’re especially encouraged to hear how Theo and the care team have been able to support you, recognize your strengths, and help connect you with additional supports during a very difficult time. You deserve care, stability, and support, and we’re glad you’re not facing this alone.

If you feel comfortable, we would encourage you to stay connected with your care team and continue reaching out for support when you need it.

Thank you again for sharing your story—it means a great deal to our team.
